FAQ

Yes the warmer can be used to warm up water, breast milk and also formula milk and also keep them warm.

Water can be safely kept warm in the warmer for up to 10 hours.
For initial milk, we recommend filling the milk warmer with cool, sterile water and warming the water when you are ready to serve it. It is safe to warm ready-made infant bottles in the milk warmer. However, we recommend that you only warm individual portions of prepared infant formula, as current guidelines state that milk should not be kept warm for more than two hours. The same applies to breast milk.

The NiniHeat Bottle Warmer takes under 2 minutes to heat 150ml (5 fl oz) of milk or water at room temperature 22°C (72°F) to 37°C (98°F). Once the temperature is reached, the bottle warmer stops heating and maintains this temperature. The heating time depends on the amount of liquid, the initial temperature and the desired temperature.

To avoid possible deterioration of nutritional quality and possible contamination, it is not advisable to store breast milk or formula for a long period of time. It is important to consume it within 2 hours of first warming to optimize safety and nutritional value for your child. According to current guidelines, breast milk should not be warmed more than once.

If you need to use the warmer for an extended period of 4-8 hours, store the milk in a cooler until you are ready to reheat it. It is important to follow food safety guidelines and industry best practices when storing and handling breast milk.

The NiniHeat bottle warmer has a keep warm function. When it is 100% charged, you can keep your water or milk at a minimum of 37°C for up to 10 hours after the initial heating. All you have to do is leave the bottle warmer on. The standby time depends on the battery charge and the desired temperature.

We know how important it is to offer a safe and reliable product for families, so we have selected materials that undergo rigorous testing to ensure their safety. The Tritan material used in our devices is shatterproof, meaning it can withstand sudden temperature changes without breaking or splintering. In addition, Tritan is BPA free, making it a safe and non-toxic material for heating milk. Our hot plate features a platinum silicone barrier surrounding the SUS 316 food grade stainless steel. Platinum silicone is a type of silicone that is considered higher quality than other types of silicone, such as food grade silicone. Platinum silicone is more durable, heat resistant and chemically resistant.

This combination of materials has been carefully selected for its durability and corrosion resistance to ensure that our product is not only safe, but also reliably heats milk.

Our milk warmers have undergone rigorous testing and meet all regulatory requirements of AU/NZ, EU10/2011 and CE standards to ensure maximum quality and safety for all our users.

The recommended temperature for serving breast milk or formula is 37ºC (98ºF), which is lukewarm and corresponds to the natural temperature produced by breast milk.

If you want your baby's milk to be warmer, it is recommended that you set the temperature a few degrees higher, around 40ºC, as the warmer is programmed to show 2-3 degrees less than the actual temperature, as the temperature is measured at the lowest point.

The capacity is 300ml (10.14 fl oz).

If you use your warmer for heat storage, the battery life can be up to 10 hours after one heating cycle, which gives you the advantage of keeping your water warm for a longer period of time. However, the battery life depends on several factors, such as the initial and target temperatures, the amount of liquid, and the room temperature. For example, if you use 150 ml at 37ºC, the battery life will be optimal, while 300 ml at 70ºC will have the lowest life. If you use the warmer to heat freshly poured milk or water, you can perform 4-6 cycles depending on usage.

Example:
150ml - 37ºC (98ºF) 9-10 hours
150ml - 45ºC (113ºF) 6 hours
240ml - 37ºC (98ºF) 6-7 hours
240ml - 45ºC (113ºF) 5 hours
150ml - 37ºC (98ºF) 7 hours
150ml - 45ºC (113ºF) 4 hours
